| BE A WRITER! So if you bought a bike and it was an utter nail - then warn the rest of the world! Picked up a piece of kit or item of clothing so wonderful that everyone should own one? Then tell people! Been somewhere (on your bike) you think everyone would like to visit? Pass it on! Don’t worry about it not being Shakespeare (if anyone does send in a review of a helmet, advising “Forsooth, yon visor doth deflect the foulest of the very elements in their most eloquent fury”, we WILL be reporting them to the relevant authorities!), we’ll do any tidying up. What we DO need from you is: For a bike - no more than 1500 words, sent in as a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file preferably. For a product - no more than 500 words, again as an .rtf file. Writing about your tours, or riding tips? Then keep it down to about 1500 words… yes, an .rtf file would be lovely thanks We’d also ask you for photos to accompany if possible, so everyone can see what you are on about. These should be 250 pixels on the widest/longest side, at 96dpi (if you’re scanning, then your scanner will show you this - if you’re using a digital camera, then your software will take care of this). No more than four photos for bikes and features, and one (two at most) for products please - we want to keep things simple! What do you get for your efforts? Well you can say “I got my article published” - and there is a real buzz in seeing your words in print, on paper or digital! And the warm glow of knowing you have helped your fellow biker along the way. And isn’t that worth the effort by itself? We like to think so.
