RDM Motorbike Cover – covers protect your motorcycle from the weather... and the prying eyes of thieves. So what makes RDM bike covers worth it over cheaper options? Kevin Turner explains.

OK, there is something under those covers, but they're unobtrusive and cover the bikes totally I’ve tried plenty of covers over the last few years but RDM are by far and away the best.

While a bit pricey (£40 approximately in Feb 2010; I can only find them on Infinity’s website) - they’re head and shoulders above other, cheaper covers I’ve tried in the past (which ripped at the first hint of a strong wind).

My SP-2 and Ninja both sit outside all year round and these covers keep the weather and the tree sap at bay, while the unobtrusive style also helps them blend into the background, making them less noticeable to opportunist thieves.

They’re nicely lined inside and very tough on the outside, while the elasticated hem and belly strap create a great fit on pretty much any size of bike. The list of features below is taken from Infinity’s website:

Waterproof PVC outer with taped seams. – Breathable inner with a scratch resistant lining. – Reflective strips on the sides front and rear. – Slits to pass security chain through. – Tailored for a neat and tidy fit. – Adjustable belly strap to keep the cover in place. – Large for Tourers & Heavyweights

Verdict: From my own experience over the last two and a half years, I don’t think you’ll find a better, year-round outdoor cover. Highly recommended.
